The Private Standard
The practice

A method, not a product.

The Private Standard runs on a three-part method developed across law, real estate, foundations, hospitality, representation, and federal procurement. We do not retrofit a vendor stack to an organization. We follow a sequence earned through operating work, and we follow it in order.

01

Audit.

Two to three weeks

We listen first. Voice interviews with the principal and key staff are recorded and transcribed. We walk through the organization’s actual workflows from demand to decision. We watch the calendar, the inbox, the records, and the reporting layer.

The deliverable is a written report. It names where the organization is gaining capacity and where it is quietly losing time. It is direct, specific, and built for executive decisions.

02

Optimize.

Two to four weeks

Before any system is built, the process itself is redesigned. We strip steps that no longer earn their place. We rewrite the organization’s checklists, intake, approvals, and standard documents so they hold up to scale.

This is the step almost every operator skips. It is also why installed AI systems fail inside the first quarter. The Private Standard does not automate chaos. We automate the process leadership has agreed to keep.

03

Automate.

Six to ten weeks

Once the process is right, we install the systems. AI-assisted workflows shaped by the organization’s own knowledge. Documents, approvals, portals, scheduling, intake, and reporting.

We use proven infrastructure wherever it serves. We build bespoke where it must. We leave the organization with documented systems and the training to run them.

Implementation handoff

Diagnosis and delivery remain distinct.

The Private Standard can diagnose the operating model, redesign the process, define controls, and prepare an implementation brief. Some of what follows is built by us. Some of it is not. The distinction that matters is not who holds the tools. It is that the diagnosis is scoped, priced, and delivered separately from anything it recommends.

When the approved answer is LRI Property Connect or an LRI Connect service, the work moves under a separate written scope with its own owner, deliverables, commercial terms, and acceptance criteria. The Private Standard does not present itself as the platform vendor or obscure the handoff. It remains accountable for the diagnosis and transformation design. LRI Connect remains accountable for its product and contracted services.

Where the answer is work we build ourselves, including Implementation and the Site of Record, the report says so in the sentence that recommends it. A recommendation that happens to point at our own bench is disclosed as one. The brief is written to be handed to another builder, and clients do hand it to other builders.

One rule sits above the rest. Where we review exposure, the fee for that review is fixed, published, and settled on scope rather than on findings. It is never credited against remediation we sell. We would rather carry a smaller number than let a finding pay for itself.

The cardinal rule

Do not automate
until you have optimized.

Automation amplifies whatever it touches. If the process is sound, automation compounds the organization’s strengths. If the process is broken, automation compounds its failure modes. The order is the entire practice.

Discretion

Every engagement is delivered
in confidence.

Client identity, operations, and engagement scope are held in confidence absent express written consent. We do not publish testimonials, and we do not name a client to win the next one.

Begin

Every engagement
begins with the Diagnostic.
